The Role:
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Manager to lead this dedicated team. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring that all aspects of care meet the highest standards expected by the residents and their families. You will play a key role in maintaining the home's reputation for excellence and ensuring compliance with CQC regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of nursing and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
Ensure the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care that meets the individual needs and preferences of the residents.
Oversee the management of all aspects of the home, including staffing, budgeting, and maintaining the physical environment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, ensuring the home’s reputation remains impeccable.
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, maintaining the home’s Good rating
Develop and implement strategies to enhance resident satisfaction and occupancy levels, particularly focusing on attracting and retaining private pay residents.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team, providing ongoing support, training, and development to ensure a high level of competence and morale.
About You:
Qualifications: You must hold an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification, preferably with a valid NMC PIN.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a nursing home, with a proven track record of managing private pay services and achieving positive CQC outcomes.
Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets are essential.
