Health & Wellness Director – College Station, TX
Salary: $85,000 + Bonus
Must be LPN/LVN with Senior Living experience (Assisted Living & Memory Care)
Oaklake Search has been exclusively retained to appoint a Health & Wellness Director for a respected senior living community in College Station, TX. This is a key leadership role overseeing resident health services and the nursing team across Assisted Living and Memory Care.
The Opportunity
The Health & Wellness Director will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of resident care, while leading, developing, and supporting the nursing team. The position requires a strong balance of clinical knowledge, leadership, and family engagement, making it both impactful and rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring compliance with policies and state regulations.
Act as the primary liaison between physicians, families, and care staff.
Oversee resident health plans, medications, MARs, and pharmacy coordination.
Partner with the Executive Director on assessments, care plans, and state compliance.
Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture.
Provide on-call support (phone) for clinical questions and urgent issues.
Qualifications
Current LPN/LVN license in good standing.
Proven experience within Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.
Knowledge of Assisted Living regulations, particularly nursing and medication standards.
Strong leadership ability with a hands-on, compassionate approach to care.
Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
