Relief Manager
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Relief Manager to provide essential leadership across multiple care homes in Fife and Tayside. This role offers a unique opportunity to step in and oversee operations when a Home Manager is absent or a new manager is being recruited.
As Relief Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring homes operate smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards. Your leadership will focus on resident well-being, staff support, and maintaining outstanding care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee homes in the absence of a Home Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ensure all performance targets are met, addressing any areas for improvement.
- Uphold high standards of resident safety, care quality, and compliance with all regulations.
- Lead and inspire teams, ensuring staff are motivated, supported, and equipped to deliver outstanding care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and external stakeholders, fostering a positive and supportive home environment.
Your ability to adapt to different settings and maintain service continuity will be crucial in ensuring each care home provides exceptional, person-centered care.
What They Are Looking For
Our client is searching for a highly adaptable and compassionate leader with experience in care home operations and leadership.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience supervising care homes and working with vulnerable adults.
- Registered Nurse (NMC PIN) or S/NVQ4 in Health & Social Care.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, ensuring accurate records and time management.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach, always keeping resident well-being at the forefront.
