Oaklake Search is recruiting for a Registered Manager on behalf of a specialist care provider, who support people with learning disabilities and complex needs within residential settings.

The ethos of this specialist care provider is to enable people with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible by receiving the care and support consistent with their individual needs, whilst using a progressive approach to their development and independence.
Key responsibilities:
You will oversee two homes on one site, providing support for twenty people.
– Lead the service in delivering the best standard of care for the people they support.
– Ensure the service is fully compliant with CQC regulations as well as their own internal standards.
– Build, develop and maintain positive relationships with commissioners, families, authorities, and other external stakeholders.
– Leading a team of 60 + staff with support from two Assistant Managers and central support functions.
– Lead your staff team to develop and ensure they deliver the highest level of support and care.
The successful candidate:
– You will be a visible and enthusiastic leader of people.
– Previous experience at Registered Manager level or higher in adult social care is essential.
– Minimum NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
– Experience of working with people with complex needs, learning disabilities and autism.
– Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act, DOLS, Safeguarding and CQC regulations.
– Time management and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects.
