About the Role
As Regional Support Manager, you will take on varied short-term assignments across the care home portfolio. Your responsibilities may include:
Quality Improvement Initiatives – Ensuring services meet and exceed regulatory standards.
New Service Commissioning – Supporting the set-up and launch of new care homes.
Troubleshooting & Crisis Management – Addressing urgent operational challenges as they arise.
KPI & Performance Enhancements – Driving improvements in occupancy, recruitment, agency reduction, and financial performance.
Stakeholder & Compliance Management – Ensuring homes operate efficiently and within regulations.
Supporting Registered Managers – Providing mentorship, guidance, and leadership development.
Operational & Business Planning – Overseeing daily management, budgets, and strategic planning.
Ensuring Compliance & Quality – Ensuring homes meet CQC requirements and internal standards.
This diverse and challenging role requires a highly adaptable leader who can provide stability, expertise, and strategic direction wherever needed.
What Are They Looking For?
Our client is seeking an experienced care home leader with strong problem-solving skills and a track record of driving improvement.
Essential Requirements:
Registered Nurse (NMC) OR NVQ Level 4 in Care/Leadership & Management.
Proven experience in Residential, Nursing, and Dementia Care settings.
Minimum of 3 years' management and leadership experience.
Demonstrated success in empowering and supporting registered managers and staff.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Accountability for Health & Safety compliance.
Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.
Full, clean driving licence – travel and occasional overnight stays required.
Up-to-date knowledge of the care sector and the regulatory framework.
