Are you a proven leader with a passion for high-quality care and operational excellence? Our client is seeking a Regional Director to oversee and drive performance, compliance, and service quality across multiple care homes in Scotland

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory excellence, maintaining exceptional resident care, and fostering a culture of empowerment and engagement among staff. You will lead multi-site teams, providing strategic direction while equipping homes with the tools and resources they need to succeed.

Your expertise in leadership, compliance, financial sustainability, and workforce development will be pivotal in optimising business performance while prioritising outstanding care standards.


Key Responsibilities

Develop meaningful connections with residents, staff, families, and the wider community.
Engage with local authorities, healthcare providers, and regulatory bodies to advocate for the organisation’s mission.
Influence key stakeholders to ensure operational success and regulatory confidence.

Lead and mentor multi-site teams, fostering a culture of professional growth and accountability.
Support staff retention and workforce stability through strong planning strategies.
Champion succession planning and leadership development.

Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
Oversee and implement quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance and continuous service improvement.
Promote a learning organisation culture, enhancing resident outcomes.

Develop and execute strategic business plans to enhance commercial success.
Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and financial sustainability.
Work closely with HR, Learning & Development, and Resourcing teams to build a strong, skilled workforce.

Strengthen leadership capacity by building a pipeline of future leaders.
Maintain transparency, compliance, and confidence among external stakeholders.
Deputise for the Managing Director, ensuring seamless operational continuity.

Stay informed of best practices in care, compliance, and management.
Promote digital development and innovation across the organisation.
Encourage a culture of open feedback, problem-solving, and high performance.
