Key Responsibilities:
As Nursing Home Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to providing high-quality care and ensuring that residents' needs are met with dignity and compassion.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and care excellence.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring smooth and efficient management.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and maintain high-quality care standards.
- Support, mentor, and develop staff, creating a motivated and skilled team.
- Monitor financial performance and manage budgets effectively.
- Work closely with residents, families, and external professionals to enhance the care experience.
- Ensure person-centred care planning that meets the unique needs of each resident.
- Drive recruitment, retention, and ongoing staff training.
- Promote the home within the local community and develop strong external relationships.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate leader with strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) qualification with active NMC PIN.
- Previous experience at a senior level in residential or nursing care.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
- A commitment to person-centred care and service improvement.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
- Access to own transport is preferable.
