About the Role
As Registered Care Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the clinical, operational, and strategic direction of the care home, ensuring the safety, well-being, and independence of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership and support to care teams, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, taking action to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Manage staffing levels effectively, ensuring the home is always fully resourced and well-staffed.
Lead on clinical governance, working closely with senior professionals to develop and strengthen care practices.
Cultivate relationships with external partners, including Local Authorities, CQC, and Primary Care Trust commissioners.
Develop a strategic vision for the care home, aligning with the organisation’s values and goals.
Champion resident well-being, ensuring person-centred care is at the heart of everything.

Essential Requirements:
Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one), such as the Registered Manager’s Award.
Proven experience leading and developing a care home, with strong clinical oversight.
Comprehensive knowledge of CQC standards, with a track record of achieving high ratings.
An empowering and open leadership style, able to motivate and inspire care teams.
Strong business and financial acumen, ensuring the home operates efficiently and sustainably.
A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care, with a focus on resident choice and independence.
A confident communicator and relationship builder, able to engage with families, stakeholders, and regulators.
