About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Manager to lead a small care service delivering specialist, high-quality care. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the wellbeing, happiness, and independence of residents by fostering a supportive, person-centred environment.
This position requires a dynamic and inspirational leader who can motivate, manage resources effectively, and maintain high standards of care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the care service, ensuring high-quality person-centred care.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, maintaining regulatory and legislative compliance (CIW standards).
- Manage resources effectively, ensuring financial performance and high occupancy levels.
- Support, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a positive and engaging work culture.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and the wider community.
- Ensure meaningful activities are embedded within the service, enhancing the wellbeing of residents.
What They’re Looking For
- NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous registration with CIW (essential).
- Proven experience managing a care service of a similar size and client group.
- Compassionate, caring, and committed to resident wellbeing.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with multiple stakeholders.
