About the Role
As Care Home Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the home delivers outstanding, person-centred care that enhances the well-being and happiness of residents.
- Inspire and lead your team to deliver high-quality care, always putting residents’ needs first.
- Oversee all aspects of home management, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
- Identify business opportunities while effectively managing budgets to support the home’s financial health.
- Strengthen internal and external relationships, working closely with Local Authorities, Primary Care Trusts, and key stakeholders.
- Become registered with the CQC and ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
- Occasionally work out of hours or evenings to support the needs of the home.
What We’re Looking For in a Care Home Manager
- Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of care sector regulations.
- Leadership & Management qualification (LMCS, RMA, or equivalent).
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking, with the ability to make positive changes in a highly regulated environment.
- Proven experience in continuous service improvements and raising care standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to inspire and influence a team.
