About the Role

As Care Home Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the home delivers outstanding, person-centred care that enhances the well-being and happiness of residents.

  • Inspire and lead your team to deliver high-quality care, always putting residents’ needs first.
  • Oversee all aspects of home management, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
  • Identify business opportunities while effectively managing budgets to support the home’s financial health.
  • Strengthen internal and external relationships, working closely with Local Authorities, Primary Care Trusts, and key stakeholders.
  • Become registered with the CQC and ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Occasionally work out of hours or evenings to support the needs of the home.

What We’re Looking For in a Care Home Manager

  • Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of care sector regulations.
  • Leadership & Management qualification (LMCS, RMA, or equivalent).
  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking, with the ability to make positive changes in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proven experience in continuous service improvements and raising care standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to inspire and influence a team.
