Key Responsibilities:
The Home Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the home, promoting high-quality, person-centred care while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Provide strong leadership and direction, inspiring the care team to deliver outstanding services.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of care.
- Oversee key operational aspects, including staffing, recruitment, occupancy, and financial management.
- Drive community engagement and marketing efforts to enhance the reputation of the home.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure high standards of health and safety, including compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Monitor performance and conduct regular audits, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Oversee staff training, supervisions, and appraisals, promoting career development within the team.

Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in care home management, including leadership and operational responsibilities.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, with the ability to increase occupancy and grow the home’s reputation.
- Strong understanding of CQC/CIW compliance and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- A compassionate and professional approach, prioritizing resident well-being.
- Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
- A confident communicator, capable of building relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Flexibility to provide out-of-hours on-call support, when required.
