Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Home Manager to oversee this mid-sized residential care home. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for dementia care, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while maintaining the highest standards of care.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Managing the day-to-day operations of a 50-bed residential home, ensuring exceptional care delivery.
- Leading, developing, and motivating a compassionate and professional team.
- Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Developing and reviewing individualised care assessments and care plans.
- Recruiting, training, and retaining high-quality staff, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Managing budgets efficiently, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high care standards.
- Increasing occupancy and building the home’s reputation within the local community.
- Establishing strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
What Are They Looking For?
- Previous experience managing a similar-sized residential care home.
- A strong passion for dementia care and enhancing residents' well-being.
- Proven expertise in developing and reviewing care assessments and care plans in line with CQC requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, managing, and developing a motivated team.
- Strong financial management skills, with experience in budget control and business growth.
- Excellent communication and networking skills, with the confidence to work with local authorities and external professionals.
