Registered Home Manager – Lead Quality Care
Location: Dudley
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £55,000 + bonus
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Home Manager to lead this small nursing home dedicated to providing outstanding care. The successful candidate will develop and inspire a caring and motivated team, ensuring the highest standards of resident care.
Following a recent CQC rating of Requires Improvement, they are seeking a leader who is passionate about driving positive change and enhancing care quality within the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, maintaining all necessary policies and documentation.
- Oversee and support clinical care planning using nursing expertise.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a motivated and engaged workforce.
- Manage financial planning, budget control, and occupancy growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families.
- Implement strategic improvements to enhance CQC ratings and overall care quality.
What Are They Looking For?
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) qualification is essential.
- Proven experience managing a care home of similar size (minimum 35 beds).
- Passion for dementia care and commitment to delivering person-centred support.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- Ability to increase occupancy and effectively market the care home.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
