Home Manager – 60-Bed Nursing Home, North London
Salary: Up to £90,000 + 20% bonus
Are you an experienced care home manager with a passion for leading teams and delivering exceptional care? Oaklake Search is seeking a dedicated Home Manager for a 60-bed nursing home located in North London.
As the Home Manager, your primary responsibility will be to inspire and develop your team to provide outstanding, person-centered care to residents. You will also ensure the home meets and exceeds both regulatory standards and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment, retention, and staff development initiatives to build a committed and high-performing team.
- Minimise agency usage, fostering a culture of consistency and quality in care delivery.
- Drive and sustain high occupancy levels while ensuring the home’s excellent reputation.
- Build strong relationships with CQC and other regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance and maintaining the current Good CQC rating.
- Develop close working relationships with the senior management team to align on strategic goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents’ families and external social care professionals, maintaining open and transparent communication.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing a successful care home, with a track record of strong leadership and positive outcomes.
- Ability to achieve and maintain high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
- While a nursing qualification is not essential, experience in the care sector and a thorough understanding of CQC requirements are critical.
