A Registered Home Manager is required to lead a prestigious, newly built care home, providing high-quality, person-centred care in a welcoming and tranquil environment. Key Responsibilities:
As Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading a skilled care team, maintaining high standards of care, and ensuring the home operates efficiently and successfully.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to staff, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a dedicated care team committed to person-centred care.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and maintain excellent care standards.
- Manage the home’s budget effectively, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and enhance the home’s reputation.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
- Oversee administrative records, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Monitor and evaluate the home’s performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Manage and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe and secure environment for both residents and staff.
Who Are We Looking For?
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and passionate leader with a strong background in residential and nursing care.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience managing a nursing or residential home.
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and a proven track record of achieving Outstanding ratings.
- Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with professionals, families, and visitors.
- Proven marketing and business skills within the private care sector, successfully managing occupancy and financial performance.
- Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
- Ability to actively contribute to the growth and development of the care service.
Education & Qualifications:
- NMC Registered Nurse (desirable but not essential).
- Leadership and management qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 5 or equivalent preferred).
