Location: Liverpool

Salary: £70,000 + bonus + benefits

A Registered Home Manager is required to lead a prestigious, newly built care home, providing high-quality, person-centred care in a welcoming and tranquil environment. This is an opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader to ensure exceptional care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

As Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading a skilled care team, maintaining high standards of care, and ensuring the home operates efficiently and successfully.

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to staff, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a dedicated care team committed to person-centred care.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and maintain excellent care standards.
  • Manage the home’s budget effectively, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and enhance the home’s reputation.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
  • Oversee administrative records, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Monitor and evaluate the home’s performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Manage and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe and secure environment for both residents and staff.

Who Are We Looking For?

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and passionate leader with a strong background in residential and nursing care.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing a nursing or residential home.
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and a proven track record of achieving Outstanding ratings.
  • Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with professionals, families, and visitors.
  • Proven marketing and business skills within the private care sector, successfully managing occupancy and financial performance.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
  • Ability to actively contribute to the growth and development of the care service.

Education & Qualifications:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (desirable but not essential).
  • Leadership and management qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 5 or equivalent preferred).
