Key Responsibilities:
The Home Manager will be responsible for the leadership, operational management, and regulatory compliance of the home, ensuring residents receive compassionate and person-centred care.
- Provide leadership and direction to the care team, ensuring high standards of care and well-being for residents.
- Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by CQC/CIW.
- Oversee staffing levels, recruitment, and team development to maintain a highly motivated workforce.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring efficiency while maintaining quality care.
- Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and fulfilling environment for residents, promoting independence and dignity.
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, responding to concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and best practices.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the home consistently delivers outstanding care.

Essential Requirements:
- Level 5 NVQ in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
- Experience working in the healthcare sector at home management level.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Strong knowledge of CQC/CIW regulations, ensuring full compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with residents, families, and staff.
