Key Responsibilities:

The Home Manager will be responsible for the leadership, operational management, and regulatory compliance of the home, ensuring residents receive compassionate and person-centred care.

  • Provide leadership and direction to the care team, ensuring high standards of care and well-being for residents.
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by CQC/CIW.
  • Oversee staffing levels, recruitment, and team development to maintain a highly motivated workforce.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring efficiency while maintaining quality care.
  • Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and fulfilling environment for residents, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, responding to concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and best practices.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the home consistently delivers outstanding care.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and dynamic leader with strong operational expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional care.

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 5 NVQ in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in the healthcare sector at home management level.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC/CIW regulations, ensuring full compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with residents, families, and staff.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care that prioritizes the well-being of residents.
  • A results-driven approach, balancing care excellence with business performance.
