Our client been delivering exceptional care for over 25 years and now operates a number of care homes across the South of England. They provide a wide range of care services, including residential, nursing, dementia, and frail elderly care.
The Opportunity
They are seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead their Nursing and Residential Care Home in Braintree. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and driven leader to ensure outstanding care for their residents while managing all aspects of the home’s operations.
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality care that meets the needs of all residents.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
- Recruit, train, and retain a strong and skilled care team.
- Monitor occupancy levels and implement strategies to enhance them.
- Oversee the home’s financial performance, including profit and loss management within budgetary guidelines.
- Lead marketing initiatives to increase the home’s reputation in the community.
- Inspire, support, and develop staff to create a motivated and engaged workforce.
What They are Looking For
- Proven track record in successfully managing a care home with a Good CQC rating.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to implement positive change and drive continuous improvement.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Experience in boosting occupancy rates through strategic action plans.
- Ability to work both independently and as a strong team leader to meet regulatory and client expectations.
- A Registered Nurse qualification is desirable but not essential.
