Registered Home Manager

Oaklake Search is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a well-established care home providing high-quality residential and nursing care. Situated in a welcoming community, this purpose-built facility offers a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment for residents with a range of needs, including dementia and palliative care.
Your role as a Registered Home Manager will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest quality of care and compliance with both internal and external standards.
- Creating a safe and stimulating environment that promotes dignity, respect, and the fulfilment of residents’ potential, in line with National Care Standards.
- Driving business performance while maintaining outstanding care quality.
- Providing leadership, support, and supervision to nursing and care staff.
- Upholding the values, aims, and objectives of the organisation.
- Demonstrating strong leadership skills to manage a large team effectively.
- Engaging with residents, families, and external stakeholders with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven management experience at a similar level.
- NMC registration (desirable but not essential).
- Strong experience in delivering elderly and dementia care within a medium to large care home setting.
- Ability to meet key performance indicators, including positive resident outcomes, regulatory compliance, sales, leadership, and financial management.
- Experience in training and supervising staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of care and management.
