General Manager 

Location: Camberley, Surrey
Salary: To £85,000 + benefits + bonus
Hours: Full-time
Contract Type: Permanent


About the Role

We are looking for a General Manager to lead and inspire a team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment. You will ensure regulatory compliance, meet professional and statutory standards, and drive business performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding, person-centred care, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Lead, recruit, retain, and develop staff, fostering a positive and motivated work culture.
  • Act as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain safe staffing levels, adjusting according to occupancy and dependency needs.
  • Provide inspirational leadership, ensuring continuous improvement in care quality.
  • Manage costs effectively, ensuring budgetary control and stock monitoring.

What Are They Looking For?

  • A minimum of four years’ experience in a similar care environment.
  • Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent.
  • A clinical qualification (desirable).
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and IT competency.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage a variety of responsibilities at short notice.
