Oaklake Search is recruiting for a General Manager for a purpose-built, luxury care home in Warwick. The home is part of a leading, premium care operator.

As General Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of this 75 bed nursing home for older people. The home is around 90% full, and has significantly reduced it's agency usage over the last 12 months through a well-run recruitment campaign. The home is currently rated Good by CQC.

What they are looking for:

  • Someone with strong leadership skills who is able to convey direction and empathy
  • An individual who is determined, innovative and uses their initiative
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage several priorities simultaneously
  • Someone who is committed to caring and passionate about making a difference for others

You will have:

  • A strong track record in a similar commercial, operational and management role
  • The skills and experience to lead, motivate and manage a team
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
  • The knowledge and commitment to deliver the highest possible standards of care in a luxury environment
  • Results driven and financially astute with the skills to manage budgets, achieve targets and deliver continuous improvement
  • The ability to inspire and lead by example, to be visible, supportive and inclusive
  • The flexibility and adaptability to be on call in emergencies, manage concerns and complaints and to cover key roles when necessary

A salary of £80,000 + £15,000 bonus potential is on offer, plus the following benefits:
