Oaklake Search is recruiting for a Director of Care and Quality for a mid-sized Older People care group with a portfolio homes across Cambs, Essex and Kent
As the Director of Care and Quality, you will be the clinical leader for person-centred care across the group. Providing the leadership and clinical support to their portfolio of homes, you will be a compassionate and caring individual with the ability to travel within a geographic area, handle multiple priorities and work flexible hours, motivate team members, and be able to respond during off-duty hours as a nurse consultant.
Key responsibilities include:
Driving a culture of quality across all of the homes
Quality improvement / regulatory compliance
Quality monitoring of resident care services and medication training
Care Services Policy implementation
The successful candidate will have:
- A clinical background
- Previous long term care auditing experience
- Excellent understanding of the Regulatory Standards
- Extensive Clinical/Medical knowledge
- Demonstrated effective training skills, strong written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong planning, communication and organisational skills
- The ability to build rapport with people and display empathy and sensitivity where appropriate.
Salary is £80,000 - £95,000 + benefits
