Oaklake Search is currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager for a residential care home for older people in Bedford
Key responsibilities:
To support the manager in day-to-day management of the home and maintaining the policies and procedures of the home and Company.
To manage the operations of the home in the absence of the Home Manager
To liaise with General Manager and other senior members of the management team on any issues that might arise.
To liaise with the resident’s family, friends, GP, Community Nurses, Specialists, Pharmacists, Local Authorities, Local Councils, Voluntary Bodies and any other Associations related to the care for the elderly.
To ensure the well-being of all residents
To guide support and direct staff ensuring the home is providing the correct standard of care at all times.
To take part in any associated training activities in order that you ascertain the skills and knowledge to carry out your role in an effective and safe manner.
You will be an experienced social care professional, with experience of leading a team within a residential care home environment.
The salary for the role is £55,000 + benefits
